Bynum??? OKC put me out of my misery!

It seems like everyone is on the same page about Bynum. Not sure if Howard is much better in the personality dept. His behavior with getting Stan fired was not very classy, and how he lied about it after he was exposed.
Hope we get some hungry guys with some talent.
Kobe made a good point last night about their inconsistencies, they are not sure what system to be running on their offense and they keep trying new things and constantly making adjustments. This is unlike any team that actually makes it to a ring.
Would love to see CP3 or Deron Williams as PG. As for center, we do not need a superstar like Howard. We just need someone who can defend and run down the court and jump for every rebound. On many occassions I have seen Pau and Bynum not jump for a rebound and have to be yelled at to run back on defense. How unprofessional is that???

Everything I want to say about Bynum has been said. I would love to see the Heat vs OKC. I
Honestly think that WILL be the final matchup. The Spurs are surgical but OKC looks fantastic right now. The Lakers don't have an identity as far as their style of play. I can't really pinpoint what the name of their game is. It's not even the fact that OKC beat them, it's how they beat the Lakers. That's why I feel they'll take home the chip.

Wow, getting toward the bottom of page 2 and not a single person has mentioned the deplorable job Mike Brown has done as head coach. I personally find all the players to be workable, but not by Brown. He had no answers for any of the change-ups that the opposition threw at the Lakers, he lacks poise, he speaks in nonsensical figures of speech, I can go on.
He has no business being head coach of any team in the NBA, let alone the Lakers.
Bynum's actions on and off the court, while inexcusable, reflect directly on how pathetic the coaching staff is. He would NEVER loft a 3-pointer if Phil was still around. Beyond that, Pau Gasol would have been benched indefinitely by Phil Jackson after his lackluster performance in the 1st round. Pau's lack of confidence in himself is at least half Brown's fault.

Zamirz finally said something about Mr. Potato Head. Sheesh, get rid of the guy! His offense consists of ... NOTHING!
And I am in complete agreement with everybody on this thread. Neither Pau or Bynum, had the intensity and commitment needed to make a run for the championship. Get rid of them both and bring in some pieces that can match Kobe's intensity and passion for the game.
As far as MWP goes, I loved the way he was playing. It seemed to me that he was the only other player playing with everything.
Oh and Perkins is a bum. I was four rows up from the baseline during game 4 and was constantly getting glared at by him since I was heckling the sh!t out of him
The only problem was the Lakers didn't back me up. After OKC pulled off the comeback and win, that ugly gargoyle made sure he visited the baseline to make sure I ate crow
To quote the giant perfectly, he yelled "what now!"
I was sad...

I did mention that Kobe and the guys needed some coaching. I also said that Brown is more interested in being friends with Kobe then coaching him. He could not coach Lebron either as he was scared. He is to soft to get firm with these superstars and they dont respect him.
In game 2 when we were up by 7 with 2min left and we gave it away. Kobe had the ball with 18seconds and we were down by 1, he ran down the clock and took a bad shot with 5 seconds left. He should of been coached to take a quick shot and if he missed then foul and at worst we would be down by 3. But they should have gotten at least 2 to 3 more possesions with 18 seconds left, if he was coached to do so.

Agree about Artest was playing pretty good.
Not sure if Shaw has the toughness to gain the respect that is needed. Kobe likes Shaw but respects him, I doubt.

can't see magic doing a straight-trade given how bynum performed.
