Balotelli is a much more convincing footballer than Mario Gomez. If only he'd keep his head on straight all the time... Gomez is useless in my opinion. Sure, he scores lots of goals, but they are fed to him on a platter. Today, a ball came to his feet and he could do NOTHING with it. CREATE SOMETHING MOTHER****ER! Also, Germany failed to capitalize twice on Buffon's rare errors in goal. Like the cliche says, you have to take your chances.

I hope Italy demolishes Spain. Might be wishful thinking, but I'll be wishing anyhow. It worked when I rooted for Italy in 2006...
