I'm hoping for Spain, can't pull for DE in this house.

I'm still going to keep watching the matches, of course; but i'm somewhat upset that Smuda (Poland's coach) is gone now. It wasn't his fault that PL played so poorly, there just wasn't any chemistry among the center attackers as there was against Russia.

russia out was a shocker for me
imho greek deserve to be in it. karagounis would've fit well in ancient greece, and him missing the quarters match is just a great greek melodramatic tragedy!
they showed spirit, and tbh i feel for the country and i think it's great the population have something to celebrate. don't think the win/qualification would've meant the same for everyone else. did you see their celebrations?! WOW
most probably/definitely will get germany and then they can bow out with great honour

czech rep saved themselves by dodging germany in the 16s and tbh they can take on any of portugal/denmark/holland

group B needs cristiano miserably
i can see holland doing it because germany will most probably do them a favour.. definitely watching portugal v holland

group C will be intense
no reason why croatia cannot beat spain although unlikely.
amazing that italy's easiest way is to have to win and win big at that to qualify (2 goal diff)

Looking forward to Portugal v Netherlands, I'm still holding out hope that Ronaldo will show us what he's truly capable of and give us something special

Denmark won't trouble Germany.

No doubt Germany are big favorites.... and they have a very good team. Respect.

But trainer Morten Olsen has NEVER lost against Germany and I still believe Denmark could take a point or maybe three...

And this.

That would be nice. Cristiano needs to show how good he is, he has had 2 of-days but now it's time to shine and he knows it.
