He has stepped up, especially with Carpenter being gone. Cards are going through a slide though. Berkman on headed to the DL again. Beltran has come up big in games for them.
Hamilton has been on fire, 18 HR 47 RBI and .389 BA.

 

wow.. do the phillies suck. I cant stand watching them. another loss to the nationals who appear to be a good team but are too young to sustain this level of play.

At this point, I am pretty impressed with NL central. Who would expect Pittsburgh and Cincinnati to be at the top? Both teams are really pulling through.

 

I agree :/ with Howard back, it has been much better. It seems they are attempting a come back on the season, but overall Ihave almost completely lost intrest in this season. Almost feels like Amaro is shoving them into a rebuilding period when they don't need to be. They had a serious championship contending team for a few more years while Howard and Utley are still in prime but they can't stay healthy and now a few trades...I'm not sure what to think anymore

And what a season for Mike Trout. It is unbelievable!

 

Mike Trout is a stud, however, the Angels are not. The team should be in first in the division on paper with the talent they have. Being a Cardinals fan, I am very happy at this point in the season with how Albert is doing, and happy he left. Saturn, what are your thoughts on the Dodgers and Boston trade?
