But yeah, that would have been a dream group, along with Inter's group. Barca/Milan are a lock, but the Madrid group could go a lot of ways. |

Arsenal might not even survive the group stage (sorry Pure Evo). Although I gotta say we looked good against Udinese last night - the penalty block was world-class. If we can just pull a couple more players for solidity and endurance, I think people are a little to quick to count us out. Our strikers look good. |
I'm really hoping Arsenal does well. Did anyone see their 2nd leg vs Udinese? Was that not a ridiculous game or what??? |

Udinese vs. Arsenal Video Highlights & Interviews (24th Aug 11) 21 minutes of highlights. I haven't watched the whole thing but the game was filled with close calls and amazing saves. Great game to watch. |
Chelsea will crush Genk :spar: :hilarious: |
I stayed up and watched the entire late replay of the Udinese game last night on Deportes - for some stupid reason I didn't tape the Live. Way too late, but I'm glad I did. That game gave me some renewed confidence. Gervinho can play! And Justin, I predict a new saying about to explode worldwide... "You got Genked!" |
Just in case some of you don't know which team I support.... http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/t...i/f552cb9c.jpg |

I wish I could come and see the game, but probably not. Gray, you gotta start posting more in here, havent seen you around for a while. |

If United don't win their group.... |
^ Please, you might as well have been given a free pass into the knock out rounds with the group you guys are in. |

Yeah, I'm really happy for Cesc... he's hanging with his friends, living in his home, playing for the best team in the world, winning trophies. Life is good! |
missed this thread, some groups are going to be brutal! barcelona vs milan is going to be interesting, glad we will be watching 2 legs of that :) city's group is tough  united as always have it the easiest  madrid vs lyon is getting kind of old  i think group G will be the one most about FOOTBALL  |
No one watching???? |
Don't have the channel atm. |
incredible effort by david luiz :golfclap: happy for ballack and the reception he got esp at his substitution |
torres .. two assists hmmmm :) |
2 assists from Torres. Improvement. |
Barca isn't playing like themselves... very concerning. Looks like they are complacent, tired, worried... all of the above. Either way, they aint winning crap playing the way they are. Disappointing. Great game by ACM, they put up a wall and countered perfectly. |
Arsenal came so close to pulling 3 points from the Bundes champs.... Pretty pissed, but a tie against our toughest opponent isn't the end of the world. With Marseille winning, we've got to beat the other 2 teams soundly. I haven't been watching the games, just following the scores, but Milan scoring in the 1st and the 90th is pretty insane... that must have been a killer game. And it looks like Chelsea got the job done. |
Ok, now that I've seen the game, dortmund's goal was amazing. Sucks, but amazing. |
Yesssssss, come on you Blues. I dont think I need to post anything about Luiz except this. http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/...0/DSC00777.jpg Mata was awesome again, and AVB is deefinately showing me that he can make substitutions that change the game. So glad Barca only got the tie, lets hope they dont get out of the group stage  |
Couple more pics to celebrate Luiz's opener tonight: http://www.wallpapershunt.com/user-c...-Wallpaper.jpg http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/timvicker...ooneypa595.jpg |

Pato probably raised his price by a mill with that first minute action. What a run. BvB's goal was also very impressive. |
Looks like Chelsea's the best Prem team... |
Not worried. We'll beat Chel$ki on Sunday. |
city's attack was just brilliant, it was amazing how many chances they created yet did not score except for a set piece. kompany is making a bit too many mistakes. kinda ironic that kolarov was the one to score. giggsy's goal for united proves what i've been saying for the last 3 years now: he is the reason why united are still challenging for every competition they enter. i'm sorry but it's not the extravagance that wins games, it's his moments of inspiration where he shows kids worldwide how it's done. that set-up flick to put the ball between two defenders before the strike, to me, is more brilliant than an overhead kick/diving header/20m volley as for united vs chelsea this sunday i will be glad with a draw, okay with losing 1-0 or 2-1, and i am NOT writing off beating them away if AVB lines up correctly. an inspired chelsea can beat anyone in the world imho |
