I'm hoping for the win on Sunday vs. Man U, but they are playing very well at the moment, so any result wouldn't suprise me. |
Way to hedge your bets, J. ;) |

Gotta give props on this amazing volley - if you gotta give back 2 points, at least it's to an unstoppable goal... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_w5VHp0GSA |

That was a sweet goal from Dortmund :golfclap: |
haven't watched any of the games tonight (last night) tuesday september 27th. so tevez REFUSED to go on the pitch? even though he was on the bench? what the fvck is wrong with those people? i was his biggest fan with west ham. so disappointing missed the united game as well :( MUST WATCH FULL REPLAY, but will settle for highlights Manchester United vs. FC Basel Video Highlights & Interviews (27th Sep 11) |
20 min highlights of utd vs basel. i would start the vid at 10.30mins ;) basel played some BEAUTIFUL football, wow! how about that second goal cross!! united still flake once they concede  Manchester United vs. FC Basel Video Highlights & Interviews (27th Sep 11) bayern munich vs manchester city joe hart needs to practice grabbing the ball, good saves the tevez 'scandal' starts after the match highlights analysis start at 8 minutes Bayern München vs. Manchester City Video Highlights & Interviews (27th Sep 11) |
Ye Tevez refused to go in. After the game he said he didn't feel good. As a consequence Mancini said he is never gonna play again as long as he is in charge as coach. Real was scary strong yesterday. Ajax never stood a chance in the whole game. If I had to bet on one team this year it would be Real. |
Barca action tonight :yahoo: |
Well, we beat who we were supposed to beat... |
on tevez: BBC Sport - Paul Scholes understands Carlos Tevez's refusal to play haha i did not know scholesy did the same thing! |
Going against Mancini is one thing, but to not play when Fergie asks....you are just asking to be sold to some random non-league team. :hilarious: I cant believe the ginger prince survived that. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...-P_Scholes.jpg He's no match for England's original ginger athlete though...........THE GINGER MAGICIAN, STEVE DAVIS http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4020/...6500973131.jpg |
You forget... SCHOLES MEANS GOALS! |
So today we finally have games again! In the CL I'm rooting for Bayern simply because I'm sort of half german and they are the best German team atm. Manuel Neuer hasn't let a ball slip through for 12 consecutive games, over 1100 minutes. Today they are going south to face Napoli, who btw just lost to Parma in serie A last weekend. My guess is Bayern should be fine, especially considering Ribery and Gomez are playing the football of their lives and Schweinsteiger has finally found his role in the midfield again. Boateng has also become a new key player in the team leading the Bundesliga. I think this CL season Bayern will be a tough team to beat, they look much stronger than 2010 when they reached the CL final and lost to Inter. http://hussfelt.fotbollskanalen.se/f...l_neuer_ap.jpg |
Rooting for Bayern, yet you post a pic of Neuer in his former Schalke jersey ? Son, I am disappoint. |
Lol who cares  |
I do, bitch. |
|
I guess they didn't get Genked  Arsenal definitely dominated Marseille. I'm sooooooooooo glad we got that 92nd minute winner - although a tie would have been acceptable, it would have been a shame to have outplayed them so much and not got the 3 points. We've gone 6 games now with only one loss, which is definitely the right direction. I'm finally feeling good about our position in something... certainly doing better than Man U. in the CL right now :D |
Yeah, I honestly dont think Man U are the team everyone thinks they are. They got a great start, but I think they will struggle to retain the Premiere League and I dont think they will do too much in the CL. If only Chris could see this :( |

Seven players couldn't start, due to injuries. But Chelsea was playing on an other level. Real Madrid - Ol. Lyon was pretty awesome! Lyon was nowhere. |

LOL, I knew someone was going to say "you got Genked" :hilarious: I honestly dont know what's going on with Chelsea lately. Our defense seems to have gone from one of the best in league over the past few years, to one that is completely out of sorts. It almost seems as if we've sacrificed playing defense to play a more attractive attacking style. The only problem is.....we aren't scoring goals under that style, and that's a major problem. Dont get me wrong, I'am a fan of AVB, but at the moment I'm having a hard time trying to figure out this teams identity. |
I'm a big KRC Genk fan since I'm 5 years old, so this is kinda awesome for me :D Chelsea played well, and it could've been 1-3, but also 2-2. Anelka and Malouda weren't great. |
Well, congrats on a good game, it was well deserved. |
|
Ah crap... I must spread around Rep  That article contains all legitimate points. I harbor no illusions that we'll win it, but at this point we have as good a chance as any. |

Chelsea manager Andres Villas-Boas has identified Genk winger Kevin De Bruyne as his number one January transfer target. |
That's the problem for little teams making it to Champions League... their good players get noticed. |

But it's good for the Belgian national football (or soccer :) ) team, look at the players, they all play for teams in the Champions League (or at least in the Serie A or Premier League), it wasn't like that 5 years ago. |
It's the same with MLS, going to the european leagues makes the National team better. |
How's Napoli take out City, but none of us can??? |
Bayern also humiliated City. They don't seem to get it together in the CL. Cheers to RMA for scoring 3 goals in the first 9 minutes :) Looking forward to Milan vs Barca tomorrow. I suspect Zlatan&co will get humiliated by Messi... |
#1, nobody may have to worry about City - if Napoli wins the next fixture against Villareal (0 points, -10 GD), City's out no matter their result, and they'd have to beat Bayern anyway to even have a chance at passing Napoli if they tie or lose. The thing about Barca and Milan is that they're both already through. I wish they'd televise a game that had more implications. But it's certainly the most telegenic game with the 2 best combined teams, and should be highly entertaining - therefore it's broadcast. |
Where's that wall thingy? There it is... :wall: |

All Utd. has to do is draw at Basel to go through, but if Benfica wins they'll be top seed and Utd. #2. That means Utd. will face the likes of Madrid, Barca, Inter, Munich... You're lucky - I think they keep teams from the same country apart in the next round, so you won't have to face the mighty Gunners! |
