Urban Meyer accepted the head coach position at Ohio State today. I guess he got a heart transplant and his family is going to be at every practice and game standing beside him

where are the tosu guys? i like urban as a coach, but his kids were arrested 30+ times while at florida. would this be the best guy to hire after you get slapped with a failure to monitor violation? the ncaa hasn't even handed down their punishment yet.

I like him as a coach as well. I thought he fit well at Florida. I had no idea about his kids though, damn.

Martz to ASU would be interesting as well....Might become a conference that is somewhat respected outside of USC/Stanford/Oregon

I agree. The Leach situation is extremely interesting.

I won't comment on Martz. I don't know enough about him. Did he ever coach in college?

If UCLA can hire someone good, there should be more consistent parity.

he was an assistant at ASU... Was OC for the Rams when they won the SB as well as coached them in the game they lost to NE... Known as the "mad genius" when it comes to offense.... HIs style is a little dated in the NFL, but think it could translate very well in college.
