As someone who married into the LSU Family(Father-in-law played football there and brother-in-law won 2 championships on the baseball team) I think I can say this with a pretty un-biased opinion... It boggles my mind how people can be die-hard Florida,LSU,Auburn, etc and still root for other teams in there conference to win. To me that is the biggest issue with the whole BCS.
You would NEVER catch me rooting for any team in the NFC north to win unless it somehow directly helped the bears (i.e. packers beat falcons to clinch a playoff berth for the bears). It makes me sick to even think of that scenario as rooting for the packers in any situation is plain blasphemy!

At my Dad's booster meeting this past Friday before the season opener against Montana. Got to watch the walk-thru from one of the new entertainment rooms in the end zone. Was awesome. Dooley came in for a word as did the rest of the A.D.

About to watch the most worthless game in the Hawkeye's season..
Iowa v. Iowa State
It's a lose-lose for us. If we win, we were expected too cause ISU sucks donkey balls. If we lose, we are ridiculed for the next decade. Would much rather have my Hawks playing a much more challenging and meaningful out of conference game, even if that puts them at more of a risk to lose.

Last night was so rowdy.
We outplayed Mizzou for the entire first 3 qtr's, but in typical ASU fashion we gave the game up in the 4th.
Luck was on our side when they missed a FG with 17 seconds left, and Brock took control in OT for the win.
Sadly that's a pretty big win for ASU - I will take it.
Brock looked like a stud last night... potentially better than jake the snake.

Last year I attended the PSU Bama game in Tuscaloosa. They beat the hell out of us on the football field, but they were the most gracious of hosts I've ever encountered of any away game I've been to. That being said, I'm starting to really hate Bama now.
