Yeah, I hope so. We've got to tighten our finishing. Against Everton we had opportunities for so many goals that we flubbed one way or another. Hopefully we're concentrating on the game, and make the right decisions. The skill and teamwork are there.

i was proud of how we played tonight
kept composure, pressed on, positive football
mata was having a great night, i think everyone here knows how much i love lampard and respect him BUT the last 3 games have definitely proved that he can be used as a sub to go to plan B whether things are going well or not (like tonight)
tbh it was kind of strange
a red card going our way? and a penalty?
damn, must be great to be a united fan and get that every other weekend
seriously though, mancini's decision to take kumkum out killed the mf and we dominated, clearly lamps' experience and the fact that he only played 20mins kept him fresh till the end and the ball was always ours to control near the end
yes, drogba's strength in offense has helped - either winning fouls or struggling his way into the box, getting corners, dedicated two defenders to him..
BUT i think after 5 minutes the defense woke up and went into Vs Newcastle and Vs Valencia mode .. THAT won us the game
i would not write city off just yet, they play arsenal at home next weekend.
if arsenal win, boy will we have a title race going on well into february
all return matches will be EPIC!!!

Chelsea lead Liverpool in Villa pursuit as Blues consider swap deal with Torres
Chelsea could be tempted with a 'swap of flops' deal involving Fernando Torres and David Villa.
Barcelona striker Villa has been linked with a shock move to Aston Villa in the Spanish press, but Alex McLeish’s clubs are trailing behind Liverpool and the Blues as potential destinations for the 30-year-old.
Sportsmail have revealed that Chelsea will listen to offers of £20million this winter for Torres, who has long been admired by Barca
A move to the Nou Camp would offer more tactical versatility to Pep Guardiola, who uses Lionel Messi as a ‘false No 9’ and has not had an alternative imposing centre forward since Zlatan Ibrahimovic left for AC Milan.
Villa, who cost £34m when he moved from Valencia last year, has started just half of Barca’s league games this season.
He has been strongly linked with Liverpool and previously Manchester United, but Chelsea are in the strongest position to sign the Spain star, according to Marca.
Observers in Catalonia may take reports from the Madrid press with a pinch of salt, but murmurings of discontent have surrounded Villa all season with the manager being forced to deny a rift between he and Messi.
In London, Torres, who has scored just three Barclays Premier League goals since his move to Stamford Bridge from Liverpool on January 31, once again failed to make it onto the field as the Blues won 2-1 against Manchester City.
Roman Abramovich is now prepared to take a massive financial hit on the most expensive player in British football history.
There were signs of the old Torres magic when he scored at Old Trafford in September, but all the hard work was undone when he was sent off against Swansea in the following game.
He went 13 games without a goal when he signed for Chelsea, finally getting off the mark in a 3-0 win over West Ham on April 23. He was mobbed by team-mates at the time, but then went another nine games before scoring against Manchester United on September 18.
He has scored only four goals this season, despite starting 11 games, with two of those coming against Genk in the Champions League in October.
