Just awful

 

I gotta be honest. The only thing I'm upset about is that I took Rooney off my fantasy team at the last minute.

I knew Arsenal had no chance today, with the team we were putting on the field. I didn't expect it to be THIS bad, but it's 0 points whether we lose 1-0 or 7-2, so we need to pick up and move on. We've got 35 games to wake the F up.

The most important thing is that Wenger needs to freaking buckle down and get some talent in here NOW. We have 3 days to do it. God help us

 

Ashley Young's goal (#2 of 7) was sublime, and Rooney's free kicking was textbook. It will be hard to beat these guys this year, and I don't have any illusions that Arsenal will do it (as things stand now). I just hope they do the same to Chelsea and City.

Anybody watch admitted Gooner Piers Morgan on the post-game? He really laid into Wenger. But he's right. I'm not advocating that Wenger be sacked, but we need some desperate measures. There's no way the team we have right now is in the top 5 EPL... hard to even say top 10

I would go out tomorrow and spend 100million on the 5 best players possible. It's not like we don't have the cash.
