Could you explain to me how it exactly works? But congrats anyway

ManU is doing well, Welbeck is a great talent and Ferguson knows how to use him.
I think Mata is a good player for Chelsea, they were missing some creativity on the midfield (like boursachi explained).
Arsenal must buy some quality players asap or they might not even play top 5 this season.

My only concern for United would be if their new crew of players will be able to keep up the pace all season long. We have seen this countless times with Arsenal, they come out of the gate really well, but by the end of the season they are fading.
Not knocking United, so far they look great, but it'll be interesting to see if they can keep it up. In a long season experience can count for a lot.

But yeah, with new generations there is always new challenges, thats why it's fun over time

But maybe it's "opposite season", where we start horribly and by the end we're crushing!!!
Also, thanks for stealing Mata.

More bad news I'm afraid:
Manchester City have agreed terms with Arsenal for midfielder Samir Nasri, with the 24-year-old set for a medical.
Nasri trained with Arsenal on Tuesday morning ahead of the club's Champions League qualifier against Udinese on Wednesday, but has been omitted from the squad for the match.
The France international will travel to Manchester to finalise a deal, worth a reported £25m to the Gunners.
City boss Mancini said on Sunday he wanted to sign Nasri within 48 hours.

Sometimes I dont get Wenger, I think he needs to be more firm about people not being for sale when all these rumours start swirling. I think he lets the rumour mill affect the player, then they get it in their head that maybe they should move.
Wenger just sits there and goes [French accent] Ehhh, the playur is happee for now, but we understand that there is a chance for anyeeone to move at anyee time, we will have to see [/French accent]
Just squash the rumour outright and say the player isnt for sale. I'm not sure how long a lot of Arsenal fans are going to put up with this team model.

Haha, someone is jealous
The thing about ManCity is: on paper they have the strongest squad, so they should win the PL.
However, if they don't, the rich sheik will just spend more money and it will never be Mancini's fault. So he must be the happiest manager in the world.

Wenger said quite a while back: "Samir's situation is clear for me. He stays. We are in a [financial] position where we can say 'No', and we will … Imagine the worst situation, that we lose Fábregas and Nasri; you cannot convince people that you are ambitious after that."
All I know is we got $$$ in the bank, and we need to start spending it.
And I just ordered an Arsenal-related vanity tag for my car 2 weeks ago...
Seriously, if we go 0-38 this season (or however many games there are), I'll still proudly say I'm a fan, but I really crave some action in the worst way.
