First report I have seen of this:
Chelsea are reported to have already wrapped up a deal that will see Porto striker Hulk arrive in the summer.
The Blues have long been linked with the Brazilian forward and now reports in Portugal have claimed a deal has been agreed between the two clubs ahead of the transfer window opening.
Chelsea do not know who their manager will be next season but that does not stop owner Roman Abramovich from lining up moves in the transfer market like he has done recently following the capture of Marko Marin.
Hulk would be seen as the ideal replacement for Didier Drogba who is expected to move on after the Champions League Final, but Abramovich would have to break the bank to land him.
Hulk has a huge buyout clause in his contract and Porto are well known for driving a hard bargain so the Blues boss must have agreed to break the bank if the reports are to be believed.

There's got to be some sort of limit put in to how much you can spend. I mean I would disavow Arsenal for 250k/week!
If VanPersie leaves, we'd better go hardcore on signings. And I really pray if he goes, it's not to City.
I have high hopes for Podolski, and I'd like to see M'Vila, but I've also read that he's had difficulty with attitude in the past. I'd love to see us really make an effort on somebody huge. Hazard, Götze, along those lines. If we don't do something big, we're going to get swallowed up.

Hazard has already said he's going Manchester City, so it probably wont be him.
I think from now on, anytime a major talent comes on the market, it will a tough task for anyone to compete with City.

VP would be an idiot not to go if he could make 250k quid a week
what is that after commissions and taxes? seriously?
read about Hulk and happy because i remember my bro telling me about him + seeing him in action 2 seasons ago maybe but will need to watch footage to pump me up
SAF getting 2nd, on goal diff, with that team, is to me more of a testament to his managerial skills than if he would've won the treble with the tevez/rooney/cristiano team. no disrespect to the manutd lineup intended in that.
tbh i would love for Arsenal to be a stronger side over the summer. i want them to win something badly, but i have zero care for Wenger and i am not a fan of his
