I need all this to happen today:
"Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made bids of £15m and more than £20m respectively for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila and Lille forward Eden Hazard. The Frenchman may also return to Everton with a fresh approach for defender Phil Jagielka.
The Gunners are reportedly offering striker Nicklas Bendtner to Werder Bremen in a swap deal for experienced centre back Per Mertesacker."

excellent showing from united
was counting on a slip up from the defense, but i forgot those boys came through united's school + tottenham's lennon was extremely wasteful
i kept an eye on danny last season playing for sunderland, and was not surprised with his contribution. this guy can become rooney-deadly and i can just see it after SAF leaves: united playing 4-3-3 with him/berba, rooney and hernandez up front
it is very early to judge, and de gea is still unproven in my pov, but i personally have seen enough to conclude that this united squad is stronger than last season.
if chelsea (or mancity?) don't do the double on them, then i don't see how they could not not win the league

The fact that Tottenham were unfit would make it a tough match to judge, but there's no taking away the brilliance that United put on display. The influx of youth talent really has changed the dynamic of the squad. Non stop running from Danny, Cleverley, Rooney, Park, Jones, Smalling, Hernandez, etc, and the clever understanding of a team counter attack when any one of them chases back and wins the ball will give opposing defenders nightmares.
De Gea is the big story, he has too many holes at the moment. While they are fixable, he's going to be under fire from some tough opposition and can't always afford to let one slip by. Van der Vaart saw that he was shaky and tested De Gea with back to back shots forcing DG to go to ground to parry and save reasonably straight forward shots. The season is long and there's a lot of football to be played, so I'm hoping he keeps improving and peaks at the right time.

While I still have confidence in De Gea and think that when the dust settles he'll be a very important (in a good way) player for Man Utd years to come, I'm starting to feel that DG can be the new Barthez. Incredible and redonkuoulous saves mixed with some huge mistakes.
Solid 3-0 win though.
