Don't remind me... it's right in my backyard and I'm going to be out of town that weekend

All 4 goals were great, but the placement from Villa was impeccable. Barca's just too damn good.

I just puked! Lol great game ManUtd gave Barca too much space, but again they control the game and ManUtd couldn't hold the ball.

Gutted...Barcelona were brilliant, perfect game from them. Hopefully this will highlight the need to invest well for next year...need 3 quality additions which simply shows how wonderful it was for THIS team to win the EPL title...

Sigh....

I can't complain too much. Barca won fair and square. All the goals were outstanding - definitely a world-class display by both teams. United just gave Barca too much time. If Vidic had closed down either Messi or Villa, we might have had a different game. For all of Chicharito's brilliance in the EPL, he looked awestruck during this game. Not having someone with Berbatov's cool demeanor and ball control hurt United. Other than leaving off Berba, I think SAF's team selection was spot-on.

Here's something so many fans overlook - the missing link to United's success in 2008...

Owen Hargreaves.

A natural holding midfielder with great ability on the ball, awareness to see the field and anticipate the opposition, and a dogged determination to win the ball. He and Claude Makalele were the two pre-eminent holding midfielders of the last 10 years IMO. If United had a healthy Hargreaves, we certainly wouldn't have gone down 3-1.

Still, for having 3 CL finals in 4 years, I cannot complain. Bravo, Barca - well played.

I totally agree about Hargreaves and Makalele, they're definitely underappreciated. Real Madrid hasn't been the same since Makalele left years ago, no matter which galacticos they signed.

Dominated. Love how the English press and everyone tried to talk United up to Barca's level. They're simply on another planet. Only team in the same galaxy is Real Madrid..but then again they buy their talent..Barca are grown together from young. Pure genius
