Exactly. You have to have a great team to get to the playoffs, but once you get in a short series...a couple aces like that will win every time. You might beat one of them, but you can't win 3 or 4 games against a staff like that.

 

being a Phillies fan is epic right now! I have loved them for years but this is something special. Saw Halladay pitch on Sunday at the park and it was memorizing, Cliff is on fire! and the rest of the pitching staff isn't half bad considering we have 4 or 5 big guys on the DL.

Worley pitched great tonight, longest game in the majors....the kid has some seriously good stuff. But I was also happy to see lackey get the hit and rbi considering he's an AL pitcher.

 

That was a nice drubbing of the Dodgers tonight.
