How much money do you think that group of guys will make this year?

Actually, I looked it up.

Sabathia makes $25 million, Tex makes $23 million, Jeter makes $15 million and Cano makes $10 million. Chavez is the pauper of the group only pulling in a measly $1.5 million.

Collectively, these guys will make roughly $74.5 million in 2011.

That is more than the the entire team salaries of Kansas City, Tampa Bay, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Arizona, Florida, Toronto, Washington, Oakland and Houston.

The Angels dodge a major bullet yesterday when they got crushed by the lowly Orioles.

Texas got shutout by the Mariners.... Whew!!

 

Sox won last night. Bard looked alot better

 

phils clinch.. was hoping they would wait until sunday since I have tickets. Guess Ill be getting familar with the farm team and bench tomorrow night.

 

Brother, no one doubts now they are the team to beat. Just remember that also comes with a huge bullzeye. That's all I have to say.

 

last year I had tickets for a few games at the end of the season after they clinched. None of the starters played. Occasionally someone would pinch hit but it was like going to spring training. The important thing is they are in the playoffs. Get some rest and then come out swinging.
