You're actually in 4th. Al has the coveted cellar position at the moment. But, you are correct that the season is young, so I am sure you will be in 5th place soon!

Ah Jeff. Famous last words.

I was a driver short today and still didn't do too badly.

This means WAR!

Should I really be afraid of a guy who actually planned on picking up Joe Nemechek and did worse because he didn't? I didn't know that was possible!

Just to rub it in a little, I beat you in Nascar AND F1 fantasy last year... so Game On!!

That was the best part. It was like it was his first victory.

I think that's what the older drivers need. A spark of sorts. Otherwise it's Sunday Hotlaps with the fellas. It changed my perspective of him honestly. I'd seen him in interviews years and years ago that he wasn't the most friendly driver ever interviewed.

I'll route his way again.

Gordon is a great driver. He has just been eclipsed by his teammate.

That happens when your teammate wins 5 championships in a row.

I think the spark that will define his season was Alan Gustafson. Man, two years ago with Mark Martin he was fantastic. Let's hope him and Gordon can repeat that success.

I've been a fan of his since he started in 1993. I literally started following him as a rookie because we had the same first names.
He has always had that fire, but he won so often that it became almost normal to win, so it didn't show. His last win was 66 races ago, which was in 2009, and the last one before that was in 2007, so all that fire that was bottled up came out tonight. Very happy for him and I think he will win at least 4 races this year.

You know that just kills him. Did you hear during the race today that they said that Gordon had his cell phone password set to 4848, just so he thinks of it every time he checks his voicemails?
