The AFC and NFC Championship Game Banter Thread

Let's focus a bit - no bitch slapping here.

Bottom Line: Jets vs. Steelers in the AFC and the Bears vs. Packers in the NFC.

It should be a great week of smack talk and speculation.

Then, they have to actually play the game.

I am looking forward to it.

Let the banter begin!

What are the chances that the Packers meet the Jets in the Super Bowl?

That would be two 6 seeded teams.

Packers vs. Bears could be one of those games that is remembered for years to come, what with all the history between them, and the level at which both teams are currently playing.

Jets are on a roll and are super confident after beating Manning and Brady in consecutive weeks. Steelers better watch out or Big Ben will be joining them in watching the Superbowl from home too.

I will go out on a limb and say there is a 25% chance that it is Jets vs Packers in the Superbowl.

The amazing thing is that the Bears and Packers have not met in the playoffs since 1941.

Wow. I didn't know that, but they do play each other twice a year and they have a fierce rivalry. Just ask Alin. Poor guy is a Packer fan living in Chicago. Gonna be a rough week for him.

I think they have played each other during the regular season more than any other two teams.

But not in the playoffs.

Just booked my flight and hotel for Chicago! Landing Friday night with the wife! This game will be bigger than the superbowl, I will not be suprised if it is the most watched event in sport history!

BEAR DOWN!

Veg, that was one hell of a comeback! If anything, the Jets will not feel safe no matter the score!

The Jets really pulled out a great game Vs the Pats. Completely surprised me. I'd like to see a Steelers-Packers Superbowl. Let's just hope Pittsburg's O line does a little better at protecting Big Ben then the Pats did for Brady.

Either way both games will be epic!
