What's in my bag? Well I'm a ping man: I have the 10.5* driver 3 wood and 5 wood 20* hybrid and 23* hybrid all are the G15's with stiff shafts. My irons I have had for 21 years they are the Ping Eye 2+ blue dot. Carry 3 wedges, PW, SW, LW. My putter is my baby and I've had her for 21 years as well. She is a Ping Butterfly B-60!!

My handicap in January was a 14 but that is when I was still hitting all my persimmon woods and my wife and daughters bought my the correct Driver and Fairway woods and now I am a 4 trending to a 3.

I'm a member of the USGA and my handicap is tracked through the NCGA.

I played my 203rd round this morning at the Country Club. It has been resloped to 128 and par 72.

Hit em straight Ray and welcome to the forum!!~Pops/Kenny

Brand-wise you just need to go try them out and see what feels the best. However, look at irons with larger soles. They'll be much more forgiving and easier to hit while you're learning the mechanics of the game.

I play a little golf. I used to play alot as a golf pro for 8 years but mostly the game is just for fun now. Play to about a 4 handicap. I still have the Titleist 962 irons with rifle shafts I fitted to about 10 years ago or more, 3-PW. The 2 iron has been replaced by a Nickent 4w hybrid. The driver is about 2 or 3 years old, a 9 degree Nicklaus Dual Point 460cc with a stiff Fujikura shaft in it, a Titleist Vokey spin milled 60 degree wedge with low bounce, a Titleist Vokey 56 degree with medium bounce, and a Scotty Cameron Studio Newport 2.5 putter handmade by Scotty himself from his custom shop. Occasionally I try some different golf balls but by far the ProV1 is the nugget of choice. I have a Taylor Made 3W too but I never hit it. Then there's a number of clubs laying around that might make it into the bag on a tradeoff but mostly this is what I carry.

thats a pretty awesome Floyd. You've got a pretty nice assortment. Went to the Golf Shop and checked out the new Titlest 910 driver.

RayFong how long have you been playing? I'm the wrong person to ask about new clubs and stuff because I don't keep up with every new thing that hits the market, but I've played the game a long time and can comment on any aspect of it.

Not long at all actually. I'm quickly finding out that golf can also become an expensive hobby, just like cars.
