Regarding our backup (Nate Costa), he's about as good as Thomas. They were neck and neck before the season, but Kelly ultimately went with Darren. Insider hunch is because Costa's on his last year, where as Darren has considerable time to develop. An investment decision more than anything.

I didn't watch the game all that closely (with a group, drinking and talking) but I didn't see Darren get knocked that much? Seemed to have good time in the pocket.

I thought about it more, and think many of you were correct, SC is our toughest game. With Arizona's QB out, and OSU looking like garbage, it's a doable run to 12-0.

 

Time for OU to loose and give Oregon the #1 spot.

Watch out for Auburn jumping to #1.... Ducks do not have a win even close to beating a #6 LSU.... All that being said, Ducks still should walk into the BCS championship as long as they get by USC (which they should).

Maybe being #2 wouldn't be so bad, having the #1 bullzeye on for the game against SC might be a bad thing.

Their offense is really impressive and would probably do a number on our defense.

SC will be a good game. It's amazing the number of primetime GameDay broadcasts Oregon has had in the last few years. This is our third this season.

^^ Agreed. This is the fastest, hardest working team in the nation. I wonder how many coaches are watching and will try to copy us next year.

Auburn's secondary is terrible. Georgia and Alabama should both have an easy time exploiting it. Ark St. put up 26 on them. Someone just needs to figure out how to stop Newton.
