Last night, our defense made some terrific adjustments and shutdown a respected and experienced Stanford offensive line in the second half. Frankly, I think we're better equipped on the defensive side this year than last.

What an amazing game. The first half defense wasn't on it, but they kept hammering hard. Collectively the Pac10 has some of the best QB's in college ball today. We just have to make sure we have more points at the end of each game. I would love to play 'bama, it would be a great game. There aren't many teams deep enough to keep up with this offense, we don't know how to slow down!

The Ducks have allowed only seven second-half points. "We've given up a lot of yards," Allotti said. "That kind stuff doesn't bother me. If you win the game, it would be nice to play a little bit better, but that doesn't bother me. We want to lead the NCAA in effort."
