EPL Fantasy League
Anyone who wants to join our Yahoo Premier League Fantasy group is welcome to.
Click on the link below. You have to create a team first (just name it and stuff, you don't need to pick players yet). THEN click on Join a Private Group, and put in the info below.

The group is called The Prognosticators.
You have $100 to put together a team, and you can change your team every week based on the upcoming games. You can sort the players by team, position, stats, value, average points, etc. to try and maximize your roster. Big players cost $20+, so 1/5 of your $$ for 1/11 of your team. And you have to have 11 players. Basically if you tried to put Rooney and Drogba on your team, you'd have spent almost 1/2 your funds, and would have to fill the rest of the roster with $5 players. Henry used to cost well over $30, but he got as many points as the next top 2 players combined.
A few great players and a bunch of crappy ones? A mix of middle of the road players who average out to a lot of points? Also, if you sell a player and they do well that week, their value increases, so often you can't afford to buy them back without sacrificing other players. At least 3 times over the years I've sold Rooney and that week he's gotten a hat trick or something, and not only do I miss out on those points, but I can't afford to buy him back. It kind of makes you pay attention to who's playing, how well they might do in a given week, how long someone of value might be injured, whether you want to risk losing a player by trading them for another.
Basically, it's a lot of fun if you actually pay a bit of attention to the league and your team, and you know at least a little bit about players and teams. I'm sure most people who will join are familiar with the deal...
