What happened to Soderling (Tennis content)

I caught the first few games, but then had to travel back to DC from NY. Didnt see any results till today, but I thought the guy was suppossed to have a chance.

Nadal crushed him in the final. Nadal was playing awsome and söderling was not, thats it. Nadal is a better tennisplayer. Beating Federer for the first time is not halfbad though And he has won over Nadal before so i think (or HOPE) he will be nr1 in a couple of years
