Diddy to buy Crystal Palace

Rap star P Diddy is considering a bid to buy struggling Championship club Crystal Palace. The American musician and business mogul is in the market for an English football team and has set his sights on the Eagles after running the rule over cash-strapped Portsmouth.
I wonder if their outfits will be Sean John?

WOW, interesting, I Never even heard of this team.
He played soccer in his youth.
English soccer team sound like nice places to park some $.

I used to follow soccer a lot, but stopped, I wonder why no one ever invests in French soccer teams? Is it because of the country's financial laws?

Apparently he liked the name. Crystal Palace never seemed very bling to me, but then i've been there.

HA HAHAHAHAHAH I agree with Andy - he probably thought they were posh. "Yo, man, I'mma buy a Crystal Palace. Suck on that Jay-Z!"

Not a good fit. I wonder if he'll pass the "Fit & Proper Person Test" in England.

I think most of the money is in English Football. The other European leagues barring Spain and Italy have little if any presence outside their own country. Even the Spanish league is hard to watch here in the US unless you have Gol TV or some of the spanish channels.

On average the English Premiership pays the best and has the biggest following.
Maybe he just needs to launder a little cash like Abramovich does at Chelsea.

He's not big enough for this game - hardly any clubs make money.
