I know that. I was implying he's most likely leaving because of the mess @ USC.

Dunno though - Seahawks or USC. I'd choose USC.

maybe, but he is on track to be the head coach of USC for the next 20 years, why give up a sure thing 5 mil a year for NFL money that might be gone in 3?

People have done stranger things. I don't care if he stays or goes either way.

Now Connor, all that means is that SEC teams got lucky and played really crappy teams, you know that

Carroll had the USC thing down. It seemed like a great fit. But, you have to wonder how strong USC will emerge, and whether their reign is over. You've got to wonder about the lingering NCAA sanctions as well.

It could not last for ever -- I would rather Pete go out this way than what happened to Bobby Bowden

Pete has my respect and it was obvious that the message was lost on this years team (this is coming from someone who actually went to spring and summer practice)

The players did not put in their time and thought if they just went to the game -- We are SC -- they would win -- trading off past accomplishments

That is not Pete's philosophy

We will get stronger from this -- I just wish they would fire our AD already.
