With USC starting a true freshman, the question is, "Which QB had the best freshman season in NCAA history?"

USC does know how to produce some greats QBs. Jury is still out on this one.

I forgot about this:

Oklahoma's Jamelle Holieway in 1985 is the only true freshman in Division I-A football history to start at quarterback for a national championship team.

Kellen Moore at Boise St. Had unbelievable stats last year as a true freshman. Led Boise to an a$$-whoopin' of the 16th ranked Oregon Ducks a few nights ago.
