Man, absolutely fantastic match for both players. I was rooting for Roddick but Federer kept it together just a little bit longer.

Well congratulations to the greatest ever...Federer. Amazing.

I feel bad for Roddick, but what a match he played. Unfortunately, he was playing the best ever.

I am really bummed for Roddick, but have to hand it to Federer. Well deserved win in a great match.

i've watched every grand slam final for 20+ years and I don't remember ever feeling so bad for the loser. Andy played a hell of a match against major adversity. I don't think any among us thought he would ever play this well again. As they said, tennis can be a very cruel sport - especially when you're playing against Roger Federer!

I think even Fed felt really bad for Andy this time. He did not seem his usual excited self.

Both men are really class acts.

We've been blessed 2 years in a row at Wimbledon.

That was high quality, high drama championship tennis. Sad that one guy was going to lose after that marathon of a 5th set.

I hope Roddick keeps up the momentum from this fortnight. Added benefit is more screen time for Brooklyn Decker......
