Yeah, this has to rank as probably the biggest US win ever.

 

ESPN said yesterday when I was watching that if the US won it would be in the top 3 biggest upsets in Soccer history.

My buddy called me and told me the news. I am at work.

 

I watched the game and the US played well, they did a lot of defending, but they also took their chances when they had them. They were under a lot of pressure throughout most of the second half, but they were very resiliant.

Very, very, very impressive win. I was watching the game from work (slingbox ftw), and thought from the getgo the US was on top of Spain. They were more aggressive, and taking advantage of the chances they got on the offensive end.

This has to be one of the biggest wins for Team USA, considering the talent the Spanish national team had to make up their rosters.

Great win for USA today. They played great, and deserved it. I hope they go all the way.

 

you can watch the game on espn360. i just saw about 30 minutes worth of the game. they played very well. their defense was solid and they kept spain off balance for most of the game.

 

Wow, just unbelievable! Definitely one of the biggest upsets ever. I hope we can pull through for the cup.
