the us sucks, but italy choked. i just find it funny that we made it out of group play only to get smashed in the semis.
i actually wish we were better and i root for them all the time. it's just tough that it's probably the 5th or 6th most popular sport and gets all the less gifted athletes.

For sure - I always wonder what our team would be like if people like Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, etc. had played footie instead of with the pigskin. There are some amazing athletes in American sports but very few play footie.
