Eto'o Confident That Barca Will Overcome Bilbao In Copa Final
With the deciderl looming ever closer, Barca's goal-machine is not even contemplating defeat.
Samuel Eto'o has offered his thoughts ahead of the Copa del Rey final, exuding confidence that Barcelona will come out on top.
Speaking to TVE on the eve of the clash, Eto'o said, "We must give our all, as if it were the last day of our life.
"We know that finals are always complicated, but if you think you can win, then you will win."
Much of the build-up has been spent discussing whether Athletic Bilbao will resort to physical tactics stop the Blaugrana, but Eto'o is not concerned.
"Football is a man's game," said the Cameroonian striker.
"We will respond by doing what we know best: playing football. In any case, I don't believe that Athletic will come just to kick us."
Finally, Eto'o expressed his sadness at the various players who will miss out due to injury, such as Rafael Marquez and Andres Iniesta: "They deserve to be there, but we will fight for them."
Eto'o has a fairly healthy goal-scoring record against Bilbao, having netted four times in seven games.
