Wow. He was a great coach even though I hated the Pistons.

He had a rought-and-tumble style that just worked with the group he had in Detroit. I am not sure it could have been that effective with any other team.

He looked to be very frail in the final years of his life. He will be missed.

That he was able to coach a team with such strong personalities as Isiah, Rodman, Mahorn & Laimbeer to a couple of titles is testament to Daly's HOF greatness. RIP........
