Hatton-Pacquiao SPOILERS
This is by far the biggest fight of the year.
My take:
Pacquiao is the favorite and I have to hand it to him, he demolished Oscar. Hatton has improved his boxing skills and will have to watch his aggressiveness against the speed of Manny. We will have to see how Manny can fare against Ricky. Although he fought Oscar at 147, we could see how depleted Oscar was. It will be interesting to see how he fares against Ricky, who has fought at 140 (Light Welterweight) his whole career.
Keys to the Fight:
Manny Pacquio:
-He has to use his southpaw stance to his advantage, mainly the left hand lead. We saw his success in using against Oscar.
-He has to keep moving. Ricky is going to try to corner him and use his inside game.
Ricky Hatton:
-Has to be a tactician and control his aggressiveness. He has speed, but not the speed to brawl with Manny.
-Use the left hook. We have seen him KO fighters with it. If he can deliver the body shots, it might negate Manny's speed advantage.
My Prediction:
Ricky Hatton by decision.

From what i've been reading HBO set aside July 18th as a possible return of Pretty Boy. I've read that his camp is trying to set up a fight with Juan Manuel Marquez. Although Hatton-Pacquiao is the biggest fight of the year, if you haven't watch Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Juan Diaz earlier this year, you have to watch it. In my opinion it was the best fight of the year, and it will take an insane fight this year to top it.
