I don't think the Lakers are all the hype - definitely a beatable team. And, if (when) they lose, I'll really enjoy watching you guys eat your words and pout.
Bring it on brother... I can't wait to see you guys in the next round. Oh wait, you still have to beat Houston on the road. Get to the second round, then start talkin trash.

So why the hell isn't Rondo suspended? He didn't make a play on the ball, knocked out a freakin tooth... and cost the other team a layup. He went right for Millers head... complete BS.

Yeah, Dwight threw a elbow... but it didn't even connect, and it didn't effect any play.

Great work Stern.

You should get that 1/5th of good bourbon ready Its all going to be over for the Blazers after tomorrow night. Personally, I'd rather see a Laker-Blazer matchup. Houston is going to be a 4 or 5 game series. Portland will be a 5 or 6 game series.

The Lakers are the "hype" This is no "smoke and mirrors" job, nor are they riding some hot streak into the playoffs. They are far and away the best team in the NBA, and a 5 game series win over Cleveland in the finals with Kobe or Gasol as the finals MVP will prove it. This is a much different Laker team than the one that played the Celtics in the finals last year. Its not just Bynum that makes this team different. Ariza has come into his own as a lock-down perimeter defender as well as a dangerous shooter and open court player. Shannon Brown has been a real surprise as a good defender and great 3 point shooter. Gasol is MUCH tougher than he was last year. Odom is playing great ball, Walton is much more comfortable with his role now, and La Machine is starting to play like he did last year in the playoffs.

I can't wait until the next round. GO LAKERS!!!!!!

M5, come back in here and eat your crow... cause the way I see's it, your Blazers didn't even make it out of the first round.

Sorry buddy, maybe next year

The only reason Odom has even had the opportunity to play good is because Bynum has been horrific in the postseason. Just pointing out a slight contradiction in your post .

As for the finals, LA is going to be there without question, but Phil needs to learn how to call TOs to halter momentum otherwise any lead the Lakers manage to pull on the Cavs will be quickly destroyed even more so than it has with every other team the Lakers have played. I am betting on the Cavs in this match up, that's if they make it past the Celtics though.

Thats cool, I'm actually glad the Lakers are turning out to be the underdogs against the CAVS and LeCrab. With him getting the MVP, ESPN will be ball-washing and picking them over the Lakers.

Last season the Lakers were picked to win it over the Celts easily, and got drestroyed. I'd rather be the underdog.

That is if both teams make it to the FINALS.

GO LAKERS!

Watched it, and was very disappointed with I saw. No heart, no intensity... they played like a freakin JV team out there. Not a team ready to with a championship.

Houston played great, and wanted it more than the Lakers. Their a great team, and the Lakers should be very careful. They took the Rockets lightly, and it's going to bite them in the ass.

Very frustrating to watch
