I just realized i swapped the score line. It's Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea

 

Even though Shearer is back as their manager, are they seriously celebrating with baloons and stuff?! Dont they realize that they are on a relegation battle right now?!

I really feel sorry for Newcastle United, I hope they dont get relegated although the way things look right now, its tough predicting anything but relegation ....

I was busy watching the liverpool match. Did owen play yesterday? If so, how did he do? Obviously not good enough to win the match, but on a personal basis?

Edit: Nevermind, just saw the player ratings thread.

Owen -5.0: Aside from his 'goal' on 72 minutes, which replays appeared to suggest crossed the line, Owen was a ghost for almost the entire game. Miles off an England recall.

I guess not that well.

 

They're really loyal fans. Throughout the game they were chanting his name and even after the game. He's like a god to them here. They're there in the stadium week in week out and they never give up no matter what the result is. They actually played some decent football, only a couple of mistakes cost them the game. I hope he keeps them up. Would hate to see such a historic club relegated.
