Hank Aaron Turns 75

With the news today that A-Rod was pinched for taking steriods back in 2003 - a year in which he won both the HR crown and the MVP Award in the American League in what I have long considered the greatest statistical performance in MLB history - I think it only proper to celebrate Hank Aaron. Hammerin' Hank set statistical marks for HRs and RBI in a career and was the model of consistency. I have been critical of Aaron over the years because of his somewhat "sour grapes" approach when others break his records. But now I can begin to see his resentment may very well be justified.

Here's to you Hank!

I don't know much about baseball but from my POV this steroids scandal has hurt baseball a lot. Baseball is very much invested in its stats and with all the cheating that has been going along lately the records are tainted. So I fully understand why Aaron might be pissed
