Australian Open watchers: Nadal v. Verdasco ---unreal!
What a war!
If you haven't seen it yet, it was replayed on espn2, might be again tonight.
Incredible match, best I've seen in a lonnng time.
Verdasco was at times the best alive during this match. Cannot believe some of the shots he pulled out. Very gutsy playing.

I haven't watched the end of the 5th yet, just the first couple games. Waiting for Little D to get home, then will re-watch the last couple sets.
Whatchu think, Steve? Can you remember anyone hitting some of the shots Verdasco did in the 4th set? Completely out of position at times, and just ripped it, and so accurately too. I'm just floored that tennis levels continue to rise like this.

At some point isn't someone going to have to at least BRING UP the possibility of HGH and steroids affecting sports other than baseball?

But yes. I agree.

However, I think it is completely legitimate to question ALL professional athletes at this point. There are way too many freaky things. Tennis is TOTALLY different than it was even during the Sampras era. Sure this has something to do with equipment, but come on.
