Dang, you can dissect this in so many different ways. At the end of the day, if the Big O had played on teams as good as what The Logo played on, the Big O would've been as successful or even more so.

Night in night out, Big O had better physical skills (as evidenced by his triple double season average in '61-'62). From a clutch perspective, The Logo was better.

In a fantasy draft, you'd take Big O before Logo. From a real-world perspective, that choice is a lot tougher. Logo had some intangibles that make the choice a lot more difficult.

Agreed. You can make a strong argument that The Big O is the 2nd greatest non-center NBA player in history behind Jordan. Imagine if he could've played with Alcindor(Jabbar) during his peak!!

As I tell Minid, Jerry West will always be Mr. Logo! He certainly has an aura about him. He was scouting the NCAA tournament in Knoxville in the late 80's. He looked like he could still drop 20 if he played.

I would rank Big O #1 and Mr. Logo #1A. It's very similiar to the Magic/Bird discussion.
