Well, I must say that I'm very pleased with Oregon's second half performance. Mesoli made me nervous throughout the game, but man did he make some plays. Chip Kelly holding off on running Blunt until the 4th turned out to be an OK strategy, a fresh 230lb running back steaming rolling, and jumping over guys! As usual, our defense was fast and ferocious - we put some licks on them - but our secondary coverage was sub par.

Anybody else watch the game?

That was easily the best bowl game so far. 2 high powered high scoring offenses.

I was really worried after the 1st half but after the Ducks ran back the kickoff to the 3 yard line order was restored and people got to see what Oregon offense is all about. Masoli's running was impressive and I Blount is going to be a FORCE next year (hopefully he stays).

Kram: I don't think OK State was overrated, Oregon was just underrated going into this game. 80% on espn.com said Cowboys would beat the Ducks.

Pac-10 is representing well so far...I have to say I like our chances of going undefeated. The Sun Bowl today should be interesting...we'll see how Oregon St. does without their RB's.

 

oregon was ranked appropriately at #17. they were crushed by usc and played inconsistent all year. okie lite came in at #12 even though they were the 4th best team in the big 12 south. i think the big 12 in general got a little too much love, although i do think that ou and texas are very good teams.

 

big 12 is way over rated. Prediction: Okie regular gets hammered by crocodiles.

SC would crush each of the teams.

i've got the gators by a field goal. i wish usc had gotten a shot at either of these teams.

i'm waiting to see how ole miss v TTU pans out. texas v tosu will also be a pretty good barometer.

 

Stoopid can't coach the big game -- he got whacked by SC, lost to Spud state, and then lost to the in breds from West VA -- you give that team too much credit. (Note: on a neutral field, Okie got whacked by the horns) In recent history, every time the Okies are in the spot light; they crumble. I still do not forget the Orange Bowl where the defensive lineman Berdine predicted a crushing of SC; we all know what happened in that game.

I would love to see SC line up against the crocs.

 

I'm takin the Oakies over FL.

BTW, if Or St wins this game over Pitt (and they are currently winning) and SC wins over PA then it they Pac-10 will have swept their bowl games.
