Wow. The Mets go from the worst bullpen in the league to arguably the best! You can steal a lot of games with a great bullpen. Smart move.

Wow! I heard about it this morning and was totally impressed.

I will miss Endy in the outfield, but this was a far more pressing need.

I agree with you Dana about stealing wins with a strong bullpen. If the Mets had blown only 15 instead of 30 saves, (quite easily done with a quality pen) they would have won their division by over 10 games over the World Champion Phillies!

If I was a Yankees fan I would Not be that happy about giving CC 161 Million. The man got crushed in the Playoffs by a team of lefties, and the Red Sox blew him up as well in crunch time baseball.

 

I was just curious because you definitely watch the NY teams but didn't know where your heart was. While I love having CC in pinstripes the price paid is a little unfortunate. Kind of like the SL65BS. While I love the car and she is a great performer she's just a bit overpriced but damn do I want one. So I'll take the CC deal as long as his price doesn't stop us from getting Burnett or Lowe or someone.

 

Being a Met fan naturaly makes me a Yankee hater, so I can only hope they waste 80 mil on AJ Burnett. If I ran the Yanks , Manny would be signed before anyone else, I hope Omar is on Teamspeed and makes him a Met.

 

Just think: Sabathia will throw out the first pitch at the new Yankee Stadium.
