Manhattan Beach car storage. Any advice?

Hey guys,

I need to store a nice car in Manhattan Beach. Does anyone know of a good storage facility in Manhattan Beach or between M.B. and LAX?

Thanks
Rob

I lived in Hermosa Beach for years. The beach air is murder on cars.

If you are planning on simply storing it and not using it very often, I would highly suggest finding a facility east of Aviation Blvd which is a few miles inland.

I wish I had some ideas for you. Try the classifieds in the local papers, The Beach Reporter (local weekly paper The Beach Reporter - ) and The Daily Breeze (daily local paper HOME - The Daily Breeze)

Hope this helps. Good luck.

I know of a place off the 405 in Van Nuys, just north of the 101. But that's not Manhattan Beach. It's right next to the freeway so just drive up and you'll see it.

That could work. Approx how long would it take to drive from the ocean in Manhattan Beach or LAX to this place you are talking about?

Anywhere from 10 minutes (in the middle of the night with no traffic) to an hour with traffic (maybe more).

It's maybe 4 miles north of the 101 on the right hand side. You'll see a giant parking structure with tons of RVs and toyhaulers on the roof.

About that area, I think. I don't the name. I'll take a look next time I'm up that way.

johns is an unknown quantity at this point
I highly suggest http://www.storagedeluxe.com/car-storage.asp . Explore them to see if they provide facilities in your area.
