Hey All,

I'm originally from UK where everyone is into fast cars/exotics etc, now i've moved to Raleigh NC no one seems to be!

Please tell me theres some of you out there who share my passion LOL

 

The responce is about what I expected! I guess Raleigh isnt exactly the fast car capital if USA lol

No not really, more so into World super bikes and British touring cars although I cant get the latter here on TV lol

If your not into NASCAR or Corvettes/Mustangs your going to have somewhat of a hard time finding people with your interests. You are in the mecca for NASCAR Ford's and Chevy's...

I'm afraid that you may often encounter an attitude of disinterest or even disdain for fast cars/exotics in many parts of the southeastern US. Typically a disproportionate share of prominent people in this part of the US inherited their money (goes back even to pre-Civil War times) and would consider purchases of conspicuously expensive cars (or other similar consumption choices) somewhat outré. Of course this is a generalization and ymmv, etc.

 

Well I dont have anything against those cars, I just personally prefer European cars as thats more what I have been used to these past 30 years

Ive been here 2 years now and still struggle to find people with a common interest, although have seen a Bentlet GT and 2 Lambo's out and about, so there must be atleast 3 people with a common interest lol

Its definitely a shock though, coming from a place where everyone is into fast cars and there are car shows, meets, track events every weekend!

 

Yea you need to be in California and I bet you'd find yourself more at home as far as people into those types of cars.
