Miami - Airport Runway Event!!!

Miami - Airport Runway Event!!! Oh yeah, it's coming back again. 
We have been highly fortunate in this beautiful state of Florida to miraculously have all sorts of airport runway events.
It's that time again, someone is hosting another one!! I'm not affiliated with the event but it's going to be held at the exact same location where just a few months back another airport event was held and needless to say, it was out of control! Cars hitting 215+mph all day long.
I was fortunate enough to photograph that particular event and hope to help cover the photography for this event as well.

Here is all of the information for the event itself:
MileMarker-1
Welcome, on October 11th, 2009, we will be hosting standing ONE mile runs. Participants of this event will start from a dead stop and drive as fast as their vehicle and driver skill will allow through the one mile. The hightest mile per hour is the goal of each participating speed enthusiast.
The event will be held at The Dade Collier Airport
54575 E. Tamiami Trail Ochoppee, FL 33141
It's only $150 to run your car with early payment, $195 the day of event, and $5 to be a spectator - CHEAP!!
A Carrera GT just signed up. Count me in! Hope to see some of you guys out there too! It will be an awesome time.

No love for this event around here, huh? :P
The registration list is growing by the day. Quite a few tuner shops are coming out with some SERIOUS toys.
