A suggestion on the cognac...try Hennesy Privilege if you haven't already. Much smoother and better IMO than VS and still quite inexpensive.

Try Privilege if you haven't already. I don't really like most VSOPs as I have been a bit spoiled with Cognac but am consistently surprised by Privelege. I think it is the best bang for your buck. Martell Cordon Bleu is best around $100 and can play with the XOs IMO.
