^^^ Very nice Law, it looks like a great pairing! Between Ubc, Jamie, and you, I am craving a Cuban cigar. I am just undecided as to which ones I want. It will either be the HDM Epicure, or the Bolivar Belicosos Finos.

i smoked a Padron family (#45? i think) with my father last night, paired with a few fingers of macallans 25 or 30 year scotch it was a good night, because of conflicting work schedules I dont get to spend alot of time with him, these are truly the nights I will always remember..

as far as the smoke, I wasnt a huge fan. while I am no aficionado I prefer extremely mild smokes, this particular one tasted very... earthy? for lack of a better word.

I wish I could refine my palate so I could tell these tastes.

I think they will come back just fine with some good humidor time. That had to feel good to see them again!

That is awesome! Cherish every moment, the cigars are just a bonus.

Some cigars are complex, and it is hard to pick off the flavors. Try "retrohaling" , which is pushing the smoke out through your nose. You will pick up a lot more notes, as the smoke resonates in your nostrils. Just be careful Justin, especially with the fuller body cigars, as retrohaling them can be a bit painful!

Proof that UBC is not just about CCs. A smattering of Davidoffs just arrived:

I can't wait to try those Puro Belicosos. 100% Dominican and supposed to be the strongest cigar ever made by Davidoff, an unusual combination. I opened the box and the smell of rich Dominican tobacco hit me hard. I think these are going to be tasty.
