Red Burgundies anyone?

My Reidel Burgundy bowls have been sitting idle for much too long. Does anyone have any recommendations for a ready-to-drink red Burgundy under or around $50 available in the US?

wow - good luck on that... burgundies need to sit for a few years at least - and it would be hard to find anything with age that cheap (that's any good.)

OK then, what would you recommend that's NOT ready to drink?

From my experience, cheap and early maturity burgundies are few and far between. I've often heard that there are no good 'cheap' burgundies, but there are a few out there...just don't know any off the top of my head. B/c they are so similar why don't you just try a nice Pinot in your German engineered glassware. There are many that would fit the bill for what you're looking for.

At that price, not likely to happen. Perhaps if you were in France and had direct access.

Plenty of quality Pinot's from CA and OR to fill the void and save the wallet.
