Single Malt Scotch: what are you drinking these days?

I prefer neat with a water back. Being a cognac drinker, I prefer a little more strength. The water back does help to open it up without "diluting" it IMO.
Macallan 18 is what I typically drink when I have a single malt, though I have a bottle of Mac 25 that I've been busting out recently to celebrate some big wins. Big, big difference that 7 years make in taste, smoothness, depth, etc.

I'm a big fan of these as well. Have you ever seen the Glenmorangie Margaux Cask, a 1987 vintage I believe. I used to work for a wine/spirits distributor and I sold a few bottles, but unfortunately never tasted any.

I've got a bottle of Macallan Elegancia 1990 that I've been slowly enjoying for 5 years now. Scotch is definitely an acquired taste. One of my neighbors is really getting into scotch and has 4 or 5 different bottles. We get into scotch tasting at his house.
