I have a friend who says he owns a Porsche that is a 1964 model, and he wants to sell it to me. However, when I went to look at it, I saw it looked like a 914. Contradictory, I do not think these models were made in '64. Therefore, I do not believe it is a '64 model, but perhaps an early '70's car. He said he wants to sell it to me, and for under $500. It does have considerable rust and the engine is locked up. It still seems like a decent deal, seeing that I have two other engines that I can put in it. What do you guys think?

 

*also, the two possible replacement engines are Porsche opposed 6 cylinders that were donated by Nascar.
