1981 Porsche 911 SC Autocross Clown Car Build - HG Motorsports
With all of the modern day technology and high horsepower engines that are available nowadays, it is tough to find a true drivers car. Although they are not for everyone, these "driver" cars take true driving skill and do not depend on modern day electronic stability control, traction control, or ABS. It is always a nice to slow it down and take on a project such as this Porsche 911SC.
This car came for a complete resto mod and refresh with modern day engine, suspension, exterior, and interior upgrades. Below is a list of the upgrades/refresh that we will be performing to the vehicle. Only the best products will be used for this build, such as every car that comes out of HG.

**Update**
First things first on this project, we must remove the engine, transmission, and defective components out of the vehicle. From there, we can inspect the engine so that we can make the necessary repairs to the old components. Next, we will send out the transmission to be rebuilt. We will be replacing all of the syncros, and gears as they have had over 20+ years of beating on them.
Lastly, we removed the seats to allow room to repair the floor boards. Throughout the cars life, the car had been jacked up using the floor boards and not the frame of the car. Which in turn caused some large bumps in the interior.
