This YouTube video shows what a supercar can do up against a what some call race car. Modded Z06 vs E55 AMG, then faces 911 Turbo S..... Difference is amazing.

 

Nice first post. Had the first Z06 in 2001 that had only 385HP, the next year they had it at 405hp.
Was an amazing car for the time, had so much feakin fun in it. I was only 27 so did a lot of immature dangerous stuff with it.

 

Yeah, the most immature stuff we do with ours is run it in a straight line (fast) lol. BTW, that’s a beautiful car you have in your profile picture!!! NICE

 

The new Porsche's mean business! Especially from stops! 305s on the back and they dump the clutch at 6k with no squeal! It's amazing! Great video! Thanks for sharing, and welcome!

 

Yeah, that all wheel launch is NUTS!!! that Z06 isn’t slow..... but our 911 Turbo S made it look like a middle school kid tried to run in the Olympics... Good lookin Stang man, nice mods, wish there was one in our area we could pit against our modified camaro.

 

Great Vid, but not very fair, an stock e55 with what 469hp vs a modded zoo, the turboS should kill it, and i dont know what u mean by race cars.

But still a cool vid

 

Well, what I was trying to say was that most people who buy a corvette buy them for one reason...... SPEED, even the new ZR1 has a rather "tame" interior. I was just thought it was impressive that the 4 door E55 family car could hang with it at all.

 

What's the point of the Turbo S. That's a no contest with 99% of cars in a straight line. A Veyron, yeah but that's a 1000 HP car.

 

The point of the Turbo S is to show the difference between what most people consider a fast car and what a SUPERCAR can do to it…. This is just one video in a series of videos. We are getting ready to post videos of our F430, ZR1 and our highly modified Camaro (800Rwhp). If you check the channel on YouTube you can see all the cars we run. And oddly enough this 911 isn’t the fastest one….. even in a straight line.

Thanks! Yea, I like comparisons like this. It shows that buying a cheap car and dumping money into it can't always match the quality of a supercar. I give the Carrera S a run for its money for a bit on the highway, but from a stop or to top speed, I look like a stock Stang against a fighter jet. Sickeningly fast!
