This car is in the newest issue of Classic Porsche. Well worth reading. The N-ring video is really cool, too! (is that a grinding shift I hear?)

^I noticed that too, but I think the transmission has straight-cut gears and doesn't like to go into gear slowly as the revs are dropping. Later in the lap he does get a little more aggressive with the shifts and the grinding stops.
